What can servo do?

Torque control - Torque generated by a motor can be controlled by controlling a current of the motor.
Torque generated by a motor can be controlled by a torque reference input!
Speed control - Speed can be continuously changed in response to a speed reference voltage.
Rotation speed of a motor can be controlled by a speed reference input!
Position control - Rotation angle (position) and rotation speed (travel speed) of a motor can be controlled by a position reference.

Rotation angle (position) and rotation speed of a motor are decided by a position reference.
When a motor stops, an electrical brake (servo clamp) is applied in order to try to save the position of the motor.
